WHERE WE ARE

We are here!

The Movement Gain Control Lab is located in the Department of Kinesiology at Penn State University, within the historic Recreation Building (Rec Hall) on the University Park campus.

Situated in the heart of central Pennsylvania, University Park is home to Penn State’s flagship campus and the vibrant college town of State College. Nestled in the scenic Nittany Valley, an area affectionately known as Happy Valley, the region is surrounded by mountains, forests, and abundant opportunities for outdoor recreation.

Our lab is part of the College of Health and Human Development, with affiliations across the Penn State Neuroscience Institute (PSNI), Huck Institutes of the Life Sciences, and Center for Movement Science and Technology (C-MOST). These connections foster interdisciplinary collaborations spanning neuroscience, physiology, biomechanics, engineering, and movement science.

Our location combines the collaborative research environment of a major research university with the natural beauty and welcoming community of central Pennsylvania.
